USDA Crop Conditions

I am watching the USDA Crop Conditions report each week. The report on Monday showed 64% of the US corn crop rated in good to excellent condition. That was down 1% from last week and compares to the long term average at 71%. The soybean rating was unchanged at 60% of the US crop rated good to excellent. This compares to the long term average at 67%. The hard red spring wheat was reported at 20% good to excellent, down 5% from last week and compares to 68% on the long term average.
