I am watching the USDA Crop progress reports. The report on Monday showed corn and soybean planting running ahead of normal. Corn planting is at 65%, up 16% from last week and right at trade estimates; soybean planting came in at 49%, up 14% from last week. Spring wheat came in at 40% planted, up 16% from last week and 17% behind the five-year average.
