I’m watching for estimates ahead of Friday’s WASDE report. Initial yield projections have come in on the higher end, but I expect to see a wider range of opinions heading into what’s shaping up to be a true “wild card” report. The data will likely be heavily scrutinized regardless of the outcome, with some concern that the recent government shutdown may have impacted the quality and accuracy of the data collected.
