In France, corn crop ratings fell another 3 points to 47% good/excellent in the latest report. For reference, the early July rating was 35 points higher than the number posted on Monday. Combine the recent slash to US targets by the crop tour, with the dryness issues in China and France, and the world balance sheet for corn will be very interesting in the September USDA/WASDE report.
